I am a graduate student in the department of Religious Studies at Brown University. In my research and writing, I explore how contemplative practices can support environmental ethics during the climate crisis. I am currently working on my dissertation, an examination of the role of contemplation in climate activism and environmental justice.
My research was recently supported by a fellowship in Collaborative Humanities from the Mellon Foundation. Before coming to Brown, I received a BA in Philosophy from Whitman College and an MTS from Harvard Divinity School. I recently relocated to Salt Lake City, UT.
